Weekends off........what a treat

Something I used to love before I was a postman was every weekend off. The plan is to have most weekends off from now on, although I know there is always something work related I will have to do during my time off. It's just nice to know I can book a weekend away and spend some quality time with the family from time to time. Although that's not possible at the moment, I am hoping that by next summer I can plan my time off a bit better.

Back to work today and it's been an amazingly productive day, planning meetings, planning my workload and the daily routine of updating the website and checking form submissions. I am slowly working through my never ending list of jobs to do. At this point though I would like to stress that by the time one job is crossed off, another two have been added. If I had nothing to do it would be time to worry, so I have to be grateful. Tomorrows workload is set out in stone and it's been painstakingly prepared today.

The positivity I have been receiving about the business is truly humbling, whether I am delivering leaflets, out with friends or through the website. It's great to know people are opening their minds to what is seemingly a very niche idea. Tomorrow is going to be a long day and I hope to see you on my adventures to transform our local postal service. Thanks for reading, stay safe.
