August 29th marks a day of hopefully two amazing bits of news that we can release for your Wirral postal service Local Postal Solutions. One bit of news could be bigger for the company than appearing on ITVs flagship current affairs programme “Tonight” in late 2023. It’s really exciting news which will allow the whole country to understand and get an insight into our vision of mail posting in the future. We boldly claimed when we started that we were about to revolutionise how we send mail locally. Ask any one of the companies we deliver for and they will tell you that we have revolutionised not only the way they send mail, but also how their mail is prepared, how their mail is delivered and how their mail is invoiced.
We now deliver mail and parcels for over 25 local businesses, schools, organisations and charities. We have delivered leaflet campaigns for 15 local businesses helping them get noticed and bringing them in new potential leads. Everything we do is aimed at promoting our amazing Wirral businesses whilst saving them over 30% on their usual postal costing. Who would have thought your priority Mail and parcels could arrive the same day as it’s collected for significantly less than what you would pay to access the national postal service.
The tricky first year of business has been navigated and we are growing literally every week. This week alone has seen three exceptional local ventures join our service. We recently extended our services to Neston and Ellesmere Port and recruitment is imminent in the coming weeks and months.
It’s not all been plain sailing, our start up was painfully slow. Self-doubt, financial hardship, personal problems and a vehicle that’s cost me literally thousands to keep on the road are some of the many pitfalls of running a business. Today we celebrate getting to this point which is stage 3 of our plan. The bad news is there is currently 9 stages on my business plan. Stage 4 will be announced along with the other amazing bit of news on the 29th August. The other 5 stages will truly transform the industry we work in and showcase the amazing benefits of running a business which is integral to the function of the businesses and organisations we support.
