What a beautiful day it was today, we were delivering to CH62, CH63 and CH42 first thing this morning and it was nice to be out on the bike. Made a massive blunder tho, got about a mile or so away from base and realised for the first time in Local Postal Solutions history I had forgotten my helmet. I really don’t know how that happened but I decided to dial down the speed as a precaution. From the early morning session we moved to Wallasey CH44/45 we’re we stayed till midday to pick up our collection for our same day delivery service. It was the busiest same day service in our short history and I just had one of them afternoons where nothing seems to flow. Badly timed traffic lights, the odd wrong turn. Just them little things that are due to bad luck with maybe an element of mental fatigue. Everything got delivered tho as we always do.
Every week our delivery gets more and more filled out as we gain traction and clients, it’s a wonderful process which has its challenges. But it’s been a joy to watch it grow, a joy to save businesses money, and it’s great to open peoples minds to our alternative and cost cutting solutions. The interest we are getting is phenomenal and long may it continue as we slowly edge towards traditionally mails busiest time of the year.
The weather takes a turn for the worse this week, so enjoy the dry spells whenever you can.
Not just a postman.
