The latest Local Postal Box to be added is The Hairdressers on Pasture Road in Moreton. They collected an amazing amount of mail for us last year after having many years experience dealing with scout post. The enhanced sense of community in Moreton makes for a very exciting opportunity to grow the postal box there this year.

The early indications for the postal boxes is extremely positive, in the last week we have already collected over 100 items of mail and it’s not even December. What a lot of people don’t realise is that we have been delivering business mail to the Wirral for over 18 months and this isn’t a “new” thing. We could happily exist doing what we do for local business, services and schools. But, offering our services to every resident of the Wirral was always in the planning and we’ve decided this was the year to launch it.

Last year our Christmas postal boxes received around 1500 items, so this years target is to simply exceed this figure. And don’t forget not only are we 20p cheaper than the national alternative, 10p from every item posted goes straight to Wirral charities. Until the end of the year “Charlottes Brightside” will be the designated charity.

The Christmas pressure has already started so don’t expect any more blogs till after Christmas, I will try but your post takes priority.
